National Safety Council

As a National Safety Council alliance member, Safetec keeps updated on safety best practices, industry research and discussions of standards in occupational safety and health legislation.

American Society of Safety Engineers

Safetec’s alliance with the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE) helps ensure that Safety, Health and the Environment (SH&E) remains a focus on the state and federal levels. We participate in programs and activities to ensure that SH&E legislation is based on sound science.

 Voluntary Protection Programs Participants’ Association

The Voluntary Protection Programs Parti cipants’ Association (VPPPA) is the leading organization dedicated to supporting cooperative, occupational safety, health and environmental management systems. As a VPP alliance member, Safetec has a direct link to updates by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), the Department of Energy (DOE) and similar agencies.
