TRI Form R Reporting
EPCRA Section 313 requires EPA and the States to collect data annually on releases and transfers of certain toxic chemicals from industrial facilities. This data must then be made available to the public through the Toxics Release Inventory (TRI). TRI Form R reports are due by July 1st of each year and are one of the more complex EPA reports. Safetec provides a much simpler, effective way of producing the Form R report with a state-of-the-art reporting software module, updated regulatory content and expert EHS professional services.
Safetec’s Form R Module collects and analyzes all chemical-related information required for final reporting including: exemptions, usage, chemical category and PBT (persistent, bioaccumulative and toxic chemical) data then generates a spreadsheet identifying chemicals/chemical categories.
Specifically, the Form R Module:
- Identifies SARA 313 Toxics products
- Identifies products that may contain reportable chemical categories
- Highlights products with missing ingredient and/or other required data
- Supplies summary or detailed transaction histories for each usage
- Converts measurement units to pounds
- Reports exemptions at product or location levels
The Form R module not only automates reporting but also identifies possible compliance issues for resolution.
The Safetec System informs you what chemical regulations you are subject to, based on your chemical inventory. Using this knowledge, you can choose from a comprehensive list of automated reports and dramatically reduce the time it take to compile and submit local, state and federal reports.
