MSDS Acquisition/Monitoring
As the leader in MSDS management, Safetec has established a database of manufacturers that stays abreast of business closures, mergers, acquisitions and organizational name changes to ensure we have the most current and best information available to monitor MSDS documents. Safetec understands that many organizations may not have the time necessary to keep their MSDS collections up-to-date, as it can be a tedious task. To help companies overcome this time-consuming task Safetec provides two premium MSDS services: MSDS Monitor and MSDS Request.
MSDS Monitor
The MSDS Monitor service tracks MSDS revision dates and automatically updates MSDSs in your collection to their most recent revision. In the event that the chemical ingredients in a particular product have changed, Safetec will send an electronic notification of the revised MSDS to the responsible Safety/IH Administrator(s) for approval; otherwise, the MSDS Monitor will automatically add the revised MSDS and archive the previous MSDS.
MSDS Request
When new MSDSs are needed for a facility/location, our MSDS web form is used to submit a new MSDS to your repository. This form sends a request to Safetec to find and retrieve the MSDS document and add the document and location information to your MSDS repository.
